Landscape survey and analyses of Waipukurau

The New Zealand Kellogg Rural Leaders Programme develops emerging agribusiness leaders to help shape the future of New Zealand agribusiness and rural affairs. Lincoln University has been involved with this leaders programme since 1979 when it was launched with a grant from the Kellogg Foundation, USA.The aim of the report is to provide an introduction to the factors which go to make up\ud the landscape of Waipukurau township. The physical, visual, social and cultural\ud aspects are introduced.\ud The report is the result of a visual survey, research into physical and cultural\ud factors and a telephone survey of the elderly care givers, child care givers and\ud representatives of physically disabled, who use the amenities in the town.\ud The research is preliminary and further work would need to be undertaken before acting\ud on information contained in this report
