This study aimed to find out teachers perceptions of the importance of usingsocial media in the educational and learning process. The study was based on asurvey descriptive methods. Information was collected through the questionnaire. The study population included all the teachers of the upper primary stage in the public and private schools of the Ministry of Education in Jordan for the academic year 2016/2017. Thestudy population consisted from (37703)male and female teachers. The sample of the study consisted of (2133) teachers, 766 males and 1,367 females, who were randomly selected.
