Burn is the fourth most common injury in the world that cause high morbidity and mortality. Mortality in case of burns is still quite high. Major burn (>20% total body surface area) causes excessive systemic response so it is the risk of causing death. This study aimed to determine characteristics of patients who died from major burn at RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. This was a descriptive study with retrospective design using secondary data from medical records of patients who died from major burn at RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang in 2016-2019.
