Analisis pengaruh akuisisi terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan target yang go public di Bursa Efek Indonesia

In globalization era, giving opportunity to open market which lead to chances for company competition and each company force them to use many corporate strategies to stay exist. Merger and acquisition are one of the strategy that company used. Merger and acquisition are one of the strategies to improve the company's performance. Trough merger and acquisition activities, company could gain economies of scale, tax shields, complementary resources and eliminating operational and managerial inefficiency. On the other hand, company could suffer economic losses and managerial conflict during merger and acquisition activities. This research talk more about acquisition and concentrate on target company using liquidity ratio, profitability ratio, solvability ratio and market ratio. The result of this research showed that acquisition which done by acquired firm doesn't have any impacts to financial performance of the company target which means there are no significant changes on the financial performance
