The first, in the amount of $8,112,554, was awarded in April to Baker-Anderson Corp., of Santa Ana, for construction of the first section of the Second Lower Feeder, which will eventually extend from the filtration plant near Yorba Linda to the existing Palos Verdes Reservoir, and serve much of Orange and southern Los Angeles counties. This eight-mile-long pipeline will extend from Anaheim to Long Beach.
