The coordinated plans have, among their objectives, the full development of the land and water resources of the Colorado River system by providing a long-range program for improving the utilization of the waters thereof in behalf of the inhabitants of the States in the Lower Colorado Basin, as well as those in the Upper Basin, for the development of irrigation and power potentialities, for the preservation of national park areas for the use and enjoyment of the public, and related water and land uses, and the early undertaking of an initial program of water conservation and development projects to meet the immediate needs of the region in a manner in keeping with the long-range program. 7. Consistent with the initial phases of the comprehensive plan for the Colorado River system, and pursuant to the provisions of the Federal Reclamation Laws, the Secretary of the Interior has constructed the project works and facilities of the Boulder Canyon Project, the Parker-Davis Project, the All-American Canal, portions of the Colorado River Front Work and Levee System, the Yuma Irrigation Project, the Gila Irrigation Project, the Salt River Project, and others, and presently has under construction the Glen Canyon Dam and other initial storage and participating projects authorized under the Colorado River Storage Project Act, as well as continuing aspects of the 6Epson Perfection 4870 Photo, 400 dpi, 8 bit, 1,186,528 byte
