Yuma Auxiliary Project The Yuma Auxiliary Project, for many years referred to as the Yuma Mesa Auxiliary Division of the Yuma Project, was authorized under the Act of January 25, 1917. It originally included 45,000 acres of mesa land situated adjacent to the eastern boundary of the Valley Division, Yuma Project.
