REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF FOURTEEN ON MEXICAN SALINITY PROBLEM - MAY 9, 1963 In April of 1962 the Committee of Fourteen was formed at the request of the Commissioner of the United States Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission by the appointment of two members of each of the governors of the seven Colorado River Basin States to assist in the resolution of the international problem which arose from the discharge of the Wellton-Mohawk Project drainage waters into the Colorado River. The Committee met in Phoenix, Arizona on April 24 of this year to consider the Bureau of Reclamation's report entitled, "Special Studies, Delivery of Water to Mexico" dated February 1963.
