The studies presented in this report show conclusively that not only is the physical solution available to provide for the principle water needs of the Pacific Southwest, but that the projects and works to be constructed are financially feasible, and that all costs can be repaid from a combination of revenues from the sale of water and power at favorable rates. 13. While most of the region's future power needs will have to come from thermal sources remaining feasible hydro sites should be developed for project pumping and should be especially valuable in future years for peaking purposes.
