It is therefore proposed that the comprehensive program of basic-data collection, general fact-finding, and hydrologic interpretation which the Geological Survey has had under way for several years be materially increased and be considered as an integral part of the plan for further Lower Colorado River development. This program of investigation involves all aspects of arid zone hydrology.
