generation at Marble Canyon without regulation by the Glen Canyon and other Storage Units of the Colorado River Storage Project. This being the method used, a Marble Canyon development as proposed by the applicant is assumed to exist even without the regulation benefits of Glen Canyon and the other Storage Units of the Colorado River Storage Project. Q. In your opinion, would such Marble Canyon Project be feasible without Glen Canyon? A. No. Q. Upon what do you base this opinion? A. The Glen Canyon Storage Unit not only provides a regulated stream flow at the Marble Canyon site, it also impounds sediments of the Colorado River. The sediment flow passing the Glen Canyon dam site prior to construction would fill the storage of the Marble Canyon Dam in a period of about 5 to 10 years. Without the regulation at Glen Canyon, the Marble Canyon development, in my opinion, would not be feasible. There are several reasons for this opinion. 1.
