UPAYA YANG DILAKUKAN OLEH LEMBAGA SWADAYA MASYARAKAT PEREMPUAN SEBAGAI BENTUK KEPEDULIAN TERHADAP HAK-HAK ISTERI KORBAN KEKERASAN FISIK OLEH SUAMI

The purpose of this research was to find out the efforts and handicapes performed by female society self-supporting institution as the formulation to care the rights physical violent victim wife by husband. This legal writing used the normative legal research, so it required the secondary data (law material) as the main data. The method of collecting law material used the way of literature study and interview with resource person. Normative legal knowledge has 5 tasks, i.e. desciption of positive law, systematization of law, analysis legal interpretation, and value of positive law. The result of research after performed the literature study and interview used by the institution to perform among others in supporting the government to formulate the policy of based-gender violence, carrying out the advocation and socialitation about domestic violence, give the education, information and communication about domestic violence, carrying out the sensitive-gender education, training and the issue of domestic violence, carrying out the protection and guidance in every investigating processes toward the victim. The effort perfomed was also still covered by many handicapes, both from outside namely the silent culture of victim or internal namely the less of human resource who was expert in them level of female society self-supporting institution. The conclusion could be drawn from the result of this research is that the effort performed of female society self-supporting institution give positive impacts to the victim of domestic violence specially for physical violence victim wife by husband
