PERAN SERTA MASYARAKAT DALAM PELAKSANAAN RENCANA TATA RUANG WILAYAH UNTUK PENGGUNAAN TANAH BIDANG PERUMAHAN DI KABUPATEN SLEMAN

Society has a role in the Spatial Plan of Region, which is in spatial planning, space utilization and control of space utilization. This is stipulated in Law Number 26 of 2007 about Spatial Planning and the Government Regulation Number 68 of 2010 about Forms and Procedures for Public Role in Spatial Planning. Speaking about the arrangement of space is not separated from the development process of a region, particularly the housing sector. In the utilization of a region of space, must consider the negative impacts caused, so that the preservation of environmental functions can still be maintained. In connection with the foregoing, it is important to find the data, reviewing and analyzing data about whether the use of land for housing development in Sleman regency have been in accordance with RTRW Sleman regency, to search for data, reviewing and analyzing data about whether people know that they have a role well and how their participation in the implementation of spatial planning for land use in housing in Sleman district. This writing using the method of empirical law that is by giving questionnaires to 18 people as owners of 18 existing homes in 11 randomly selected houses in the Sleman District, and conducted interviews to several sources who understand about the problems researched by the authors. The results of this study is the use of land in Sleman regency has been largely in accordance with the Detailed Spatial Plan. Sleman Regency society do not understand or do not know about Spatial Planning District and participation that should be owned. The authors suggested that the government of Sleman District to immediately overcome the problems that occur in the construction of housing in the living area of Sleman District
