PELAKSANAAN UJI EMISI KENDARAAN BERMOTOR SEBAGAI UPAYA PENGENDALIAN PENCEMARAN UDARA DI KOTA YOGYAKARTA BERDASARKAN PERATURAN DAERAH NOMOR 5 TAHUN2007

The title of this thesis is the implementation of vehicle emissions testing as efforts to control air pollution in the city of ' Yogyakarta. Air is an important component of human life for that air quality needs to be maintained for the sake of human survival. one of the causes of air pollution in the city of Yogyakarta, is the increasing number of vehicles that are less controlled, the high number of immigrants and community activities exacerbate air quality in the city of Yogyakarta, one way to control air pollution is to perform emissions testing on vehicles, with expectations after government emissions test can reduce its high air pollution resulting from motor vehicle exhaust, the purpose of this study are: to determine how the implementation of motor vehicle emissions testing in air pollution control and protection of what government yogyakarta in order tomaintain the air quality of the air pollution. and to see if there are-obstacles thathinder the implementation of motor vehicle emissions testing in air pollutioncontrol in the city of Yogyakarta, results of this study are: the implementation ofemissions testing is still not working effectively in the field are still a commonsight obstacles such as lack of human resources, lack of supervision direct andlack of tough sanctions
