Sacroiliac joint dysfunction is widely considered as a potential source for pain in the lumbosacral region. Treatment modalities vary from electrotherapy (TENS, diadynamic, interferential currents), massage, manual therapy and exercises to joint fusion. The treatment of sacroiliac joint dysfunction presents a clinical challenge and a construction of optimized approach framework is still needed.
