The aim of our investigation was to evaluate the efficiency of some insecticide - acaricide commonly used by farmers for controlling the mite Aculops lycopersici M. The following active substances were included in the experiment: spirodiclofen, etoxazol, bifentrin, propargite and abamectin. The examinations were carried out on tomatoes grown in greenhouses with an area of 0,1 ha, in the region of village Borievo, in the period of summer-autumn production of tomatoes. For determining the number of adult mites’ present control on tomato plants was performed. The control was conducted from early July to late August, 2013 and 2014, at an interval of 10 days.
