ANALISIS PENGARUH STRUKTUR MODAL TERHADAP ECONOMIC VALUE ADDED (EVA) (Kasus Industri Barang Konsumsi)

This study aims to determine the effect of capital structure on Economic Value Added in manufacture companies in the consumer goods industry in 2008-2010 study periods. Determination of samples that had taken in this study was using purposive sampling method. The focus of the research was directed to the calculation of capital structure and economic value added. The capital structure and EVA that was examined in this study were drawn within 3 years, from 2008- 2010. The analysis method that used in statistic tests in this study was using panel data analysis. The results of this study illustrate that there are no effect between the capital structure decisions with Economic Value Added. From the results of the study, can be concluded that the capital structure have effect on the EVA by 15,16% and 84,84% influenced by other factors outside the capital structure. Thus, capital structure has a very small effect to the EVA
