This paper is directed towards a thorough introduction to wedding songs, games, rites and customs in Stip. Defend a thesis still living presence of the wedding songs and rituals on the ground of Stip, which is dramatically reconstructed. This is supported by a representative folk material collected from the field, from informants who got married before 55 years. My subject of research and interest are wedding songs and rituals, performed during wedding ceremonies in Stip and Shtip, more than half a century.
