ANALISIS KELAYAKAN FINANSIAL USAHATANI LADA (Piper nigrum, L) DI DESA KUNDURAN KECAMATAN ULU MUSI KABUPATEN LAHAT SUMATERA SELATAN

Objective of this study was to evaluate the financial feasibility of pepper farming in Kunduran of South Sumatera. A survey was conducted with stratified random sampling technique. The strata were applied to the farmer who have pepper plants ranged from 1 to 12 years old. Descriptive and investment criteria analyses was used for evaluation. The results showed that the investment required for 1 ha pepper production was Rp. 36.363.400, 00 and operational cost was Rp. 198.006.700,00. If the annual interest rate is 15%, the NPV would be Rp. 46.311.720,00; gross B/C ratio 1.5; and IRR 37.50%. Base on this criteria, the pepper production in Kunduran was financially feasible
