The major purposes of this study are cD to explain the major factors of social change, (2) to investigate the trend of social change, and 3 to suggest the prospect of the social change, in rural Korea. The sociological theory of social change can be classified into four major perspectives: functional, Marxian, interactionist, and human ecological perspective.
