The problem of climate change was the subject of the project EEA-CZ02- OV-1-039-2015, which was carried out by partners from the Czech Republic and Norway. Cost-benefit analysis was applied for 36 cadastral units where co-investigators suggested adaptation measures on the impacts of drought, erosion, retention and torrential rains. Costs were investments for the creation measures, and loss of production from the area where the action was on the arable land. Benefits were based on reducing the negative impacts of climate change and ecosystem services. The results of the analysis clearly showed that the implementation of adaptation measures could bring societal benefits beyond the cost of the measures. Net social benefits at current value are...
