This paper employs the log-linear models on the data collected from farmers Jlll;lticipating in the ~armer Suppo!1 Pr~gramrne in Phokwane and Ndebele areas to determine factors that can facilitate or constrain women from bemg commercial oriented. The results indicate that women households heads and men are more inclined towards selling than married women, however, land and credit are major constraints. With respect to married women, improvement in the ownership status seems necessary for the success of other policy instruments
