PRACTICAS TÉCNICO – ADMINISTRATIVAS DE LA PRODUCCIÓN DE LECHE EN LA PROVINCIA DEL TUNDAMA. BOYACA, COLOMBIA

This research was conducted in 2012 and point out the analysis of the technical and administrative practices used by milk farmers located in the so-called milk lace of the Province of Tundama in Boyacá, which is composed of the municipalities of Paipa , Tunja, Santa Rosa de Viterbo, Cerinza, Belen and Floresta. The purpose of this research was to identify the tools that entrepreneurs are using to manage the different activities in the process of producing this type of product. According to the above, the overall objective sought to identify the technical and administrative practices that these producers use as process -management in the production of fresh milk. It is important to highlight that these purposes are achieved from the formulation of specific objectives which can identify aspects such as: land tenure, company size, type of cattle, feeding, record types and technology among others. Always bearing in mind the knowledge the producer has regarding each one of the technical and administrative practices concerning the procurement and product handling. For the development of this work a descriptive research was used since the main concern was to describe key features of homogeneous sets, and thus to show the grounded study. The research method employed was deductive: where pre- established truths are taken as a general principle and subsequently be applied to particular cases and therefore confirm its validity. The data used in the determination of sample for the application of the surveys, was taken from a census of the size of farms according to the number of cattle, developed by ASOPADU (Agricultural Association of Sotaquira, Paipa and Tunja). This study highlights the economic and social importance that occurs in the process of production of fresh milk, since each one of the planned and properly supported activities (in terms of the improved cattle, meadows, use of appropriate technology, infrastructure and programming records) allow the entire process to ensure the product quality, and hence, when selling milk to find a better price on the market, facilitating the continuous improvement of the quality of life of the people involved in the first link of the chain
