A “natural” consequence derived from personal income growth has been car ownership growth, but as far as there are some countries where this relation is not true, or at least, it is not at the same ratio as most cities in the USAa, we may go in depth analysis of the variables that influences such different choices. At the end we want to analyze how is car ownership and car use related to “quality” of life, for this we will consider time spent on daily traveling which then determines time available for other activities that usually makes our life more productive, as far as, we find more opportunities for personal leisure, social life, education, family activities and so on.
