The aim of the study was to determine the preferences and behavior of students on the milk and dairy products market. The source material for this study were survey conducted in 2012 on a purposely selected sample of 200 students of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań. It has been found that milk and dairy products are a very important component of the diet of students. Nearly half of them consume these products every day. The milk they use mainly for whitening coffee, cocoa preparation and consume them with cereal. Most often buy UHT milk in a carton, with a high fat content.
