Background: Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a condition with a global prevalence of 24. A broad spectrum of liver complications has been attributed to this condition. Objectives: This study was conducted to determine the incidence of NAFLD and its potential risk factors in a seven-year follow-up study in Iran.
