My dearest One Feb 14, 1944 Well how is my one and only girl to-night. I sure hope you have gotten some mail by now sweet heart, and I am sure you have. But I know just how you must have felt be couse I have felt this same way. Honey your v-mail of the last 1st & the pictures with the letter written the 2nd come to-day. Also the staionary come to as you can see I am using some of it to-night. So it must not have taken it to lony to come I couldent make out the late it was mailed and I have forgotten when you said you sent it. Any how I got it OK & that is what counts. Sweetheart the pictures are sure good. They are muche better those the proofs of come. But I still can't get over May she has me stamped. And I can see that you mean when you say Melrin has pretty lyk. He looks as if he could look right through you. Well the last fundly get back. He & Maj Douglas were a little late I think is fact I know they were Col Kennedy got some bad news. His wife isn't expected to have so be in or his way home. He is flying I believe. Sure hope he gets there in time. His home is in Ohio, Cleveland I think
