October 28, 1944 Italy My Dearest One, Just a v mail to day Honey to let you know how I am getting along. The Dr. told me this morning that he thought I would be OK in a day or two. He also told me my trouble was from a strain. I don't recall ever having done it tho. We are stil having rain most of the time. The sun came out for a few minutes yesterday but didnt last long. Well tomorrow is C.W. birthday. He will be seven, it doesn't seem possible. Sweetheart there just isnt any thing to write about. I sure have gotten good care since being in the Hosp. You know it is to my first time in one during all my time in the service So long for now. Honey will write again tomorrow. I love you sweet Le
