Richard Lee Holt Sr. letter to his wife Minneford Francis Holt, July 26, 1944

Abstract

My Dearest One July 26, 1944 Hello Sweet & how are you this lovely morning? At least it is here. I don't see why the days can't stay as nice & cool as the mornings are. But it gets so darn hot during the day that you don't feel like getting out much. I spent a very quiet day yesterday, I went down town in the evening & got the pictures I spoke of yesterday. They weren't anything to brag about but the best I could do on such short stay. I am having four of them tinted the others are just plain. Honey I am going to send them all to you & you do as you please with them. I know your Dad & Mother & Mother & Dad will want one. The others can go to whoever you want them to
