Italy August 28 My Dearest One Honey I will try again this morning to write a few lines. I started a letter yesterday evening but I couldent hit the right keys, and it lo- oks as if the same thing was going to happen this morning. But I am going to get it done if it takes me the rest of the morning. I got your two V mails yesterday of the 12 & 14th and am looking for an air mail today, I hope I am not dissapointed. Honey you arent the only one who gets out of the mood to write. Some times I can just rattle along like a house fire, then some times I just cant seem to think of a thing to write. I sure hope the twins are better by now. It seem that they are always having something wrong with them. I guess it is because that I am not with them that makes me not- ice it more. And I know it is hard for you to get anything done are go anywhere withe them when they dont feel good. Honey I had forgotten that Norma Durning was even married. What was her husbands name, and is he from around home? So Charles dosent like Barkley, I am going to write him and tell him if he isnt satisfide there he should be over here, and then he would think he was in heaven. I thought he always liked Texas. I wonder what ever possed him to get in the Medics, that is one place where I dont ever want to be. I guess it was probably on the account of his ankle tho. I guess with all his physical ailments that is the best place for him maby they can get him all fixed up. You spoke of Churchill being in Italy he was in Rome the same time I was there last, but nobody knew anything about it, they keep those thing pretty much to themselves. Now Honey dont laugh at me fo forgetting my dates mixed up, you know I never was any good at remembering them. I sat and pondered of just how long we had been married for along time, and if I had of just looked at the date of the kids births that I had in my pocket I could have told very easy. Any how it wasent the time that mattered, it was just that the poem expressed what I felt about You. So they think Fount Richardson is coming home. I am glad to hear it but am sorry it is on account of his health. The human body can stand only so much tho, and as you said he has been over there a long time. I hope he isnt so bad that with a good long rest and proper care of him- self he can make a come back. He was just in his prime as for as his medical pratice was doncerned? Do you ever see Mrs Richardson, and dose she still have the house on leverett XXXXX street? Yes Honey I got the picture of Chas I thought I wrote that I had. I think I will send it back tho as I dont have much of a place to keep it. I have the one of you and the youngsters in my brief case and manage to keep it from gett- ing broken, but I dont have so much stuff in it already that I just have to carry, that I have to keep my personel stuff to a minuieum. Honey I am running out of paper, and I am aboutrun down also, so guess I had better signn off. I want to get this off in the mail anyhow. I am ok and hope you and the kids are the same.
