May 20, 1944 Italy My Dearest one: Honey I know you are going to be standing on your head by the time you get this, but it couldnt be helped this time. Things have been moving pretty fast the last four or five days and I just havent had time to write. I got your letter of the 7th yesterday and was so glad to hear. Sorry Wiley & Nedra's visit up set you all so. Things have been a little warm, but I am still OK except for being a little tired. Maby in a day or two I will have more time to write. I started two other letters but dident get either of them finished. Tell Mother & Dad I will write them as soon as I can, also Florence.
