March 21, 1944 My Dearest, I got your V-Mail letter of Italy the 6th to-day. Was so glad to hear. I don't have enough to write about for an air mail tonight. I hope I get your air mail to-morrow, maby I can write you a good long letter then. Yes Honey Wylie has written me about his marriage. I have been looking for a letter from him for some time. I guess maby I will hear one of these days. Honey I am sorry about your not hearing from me. I guess tho by now you should be getting your mail pretty regular. The few days I was on pass kind of messed things up. Honey there isnt much I can tell you about the reorganization. We didn't make much change. We have [redacted] now instead of [redacted] as before. Otherwise the setup is about the same. Honey your dependency check is a Class "A" allotement, that is for man & wife. There is another Class "B" for a dependent mother or father. Well sweet I see my space is almost gone so will close for now. This leaves me OK. And I hope you & the kids are the same. All my Love, Le
