Italy Jan 20/44 My Dearest Sweetheart. Honey I am the one who is late in writing this time. And this is only going to be a note. We are having some mighty pretty weather. The nights are cold & the days are just like spring. We have been pretty busy the last few day, and I just couldent get around to writing. Maby in another two or three day I can write more often again. This leaves me O.K. And I hope you a the kids are the same. I got your letters of Dec 29 & Jan 1st several days ago. I will answer them in more detail when I have time to read them again. Honey this isnt much but I am sure you understand.
