My Dearest One Italy - Jan 13/44 Here we go again Honey. I got your letter of Dec 9th & 11th to-day, so I guess that explains why I was so long in hearing from you for a while. I still can't see how the mail gets so messed up coming over. I sure hope it doesn't take my letters so long to get to you. I still say I believe that air mail is the best to use where it is at all possible. Well we got our PX stuff in to-day the first we have gotten in quiet some time. It was quiet a treat to watch the boys. They were just lik a bunch of little kids. We got some candy. There was some Baby Ruth, Hershey, Necco Waffers, Tootsie Rolls and Chuckles. It was quiet a treat to us. We got lots of hard candy but very little soft candy. To-day has been another very pretty day. I guess the bad weather is about over for a while. Honey don't worry about my getting sick. We have been living out side so long now, we are getting used to it now. The only bad thing about the whole thing is the sleeping on the ground. But I have my bunk fixed up pretty good. And since we have been in the same place for over a month now I am making out OK. I also got a letter from Wylie today. It was written the 26th of Dec. He said he had been writing to me pretty regular, so I guees the letters must have gotten lost some wher
