View of the front (north) of Engineering Hall taken from the northeast; inscription above door: ENGINEERING HALL.The first Engineering Hall was built in 1903. When a new engineering building was opened in 1927, the former building was used for the then School of Business. The building was referred to as the Commerce Building until it was joined with the Classroom Building in 1947 to create a larger Business Administration Building. It was demolished in 1987. The site is now the location of the south wing of Gearhart Hall
