Marion Wasson.Marion Abner Wasson (1889-1958) was secretary-treasurer (1943-1945), then acting business manager/Board of Trustees Secretary (1945) of the University of Arkansas. From 1933-1937, he was Bank Commissioner for the State of Arkansas. Wasson held numerous executive positions, including president of Bratt-Wasson Bank of Siloam Springs and Gentry Citizens Bank in Gentry. He was president of the Chamber of Commerce and held leadership positions in numerous other community organizations (e.g. Arkansas Western Gas Company, Ozark White Lime Company, McIlory Bank, Ozark Dairy Improvement Association, Rainbow Valley Dairy Farm, Artificial Breeders' Association, Washington County Tuberculosis Association)
