Instr.]Dr. Lewis Henry Rohrbaugh (1908-1989), educator and public administrator, was Provost and Vice President at the University of Arkansas 1954-1959. He received his Dr. of Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania in 1939. In 1941 he went to the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a field Superintendent of the Management Division of the Farm Security Administration. He became a special associate of the American Council on Education. He had also been an administrator for the Federal Government, having served in the Agriculture and State departments and in several overseas posts. Afterwards he became an administrator of the Boston University Medical Center from 1962 to 1973
