This paper studies the main features of the philosophical style of Baruch Spinoza from some of the considerations that he himself made in his own Correspondence. In the first part, I expose and comment some of the considerations that throughout the history authors like Henry Oldenburg, Johan Wolfgang von Goethe or Fritz Mauthner have realized about the darkness of Spinoza’s style.
