This paper discusses the dynamics and inclusion of students with hearing impairment in public schools of regular education, promoted by the current national education policy. It presents the causes and prevention of hearing loss and discusses the knowledge of teachers in relation to this topic. The work was carried out using the bibliographic research method, with a focus on Specialized Educational Assistance (AEE) and the role of Interpreter, which favor the access of students with hearing impairment to knowledge.
