Pengaruh Jumlah Bahan Pengisi Terhadap Kekerasan Kompon Footstep Sepeda Motor

One of the problems encountered at the time of manufacture of rubber finished goods is to determine precisely the value of hardness of rubber finished goods because hardness is one of the important physical properties in designing rubber finished goods. The hardness of rubber finished goods can be predicted before by considering some materials that contribute to the final hardness of rubber finished goods. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the amount of filler material to the hardness of footstep motorcycle compound. The experiment was carried out by experimenting with three compound formulas (F1, F2, and F3) using natural rubber and chemicals. The experimental compound will be compared to the manufactured product compound (FP) by analyzing the hardness value (Hardness, Shore A). The use of an increasing amount of filler will increase the hardness value of the compound. Keywords : filler, footstep, hardnessÂ
