Penyelenggaraan Tugas Kepala Desa Dalam Pemberdayaan Lembaga Kemasyarakatan di Desa Sidomulyo Kecamatan Lirik Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu

This paper aims to describe how the role of the village head in empowering to community institusion especially in Sidomulyo village in Lirik district. This type of reasearch used in this study is to use the descriptive type with basic survey reaserch. Data collection techniques by conducting direct observation of objects in meticulous, questionnaires, and intervews the researcher held question and answer directly to the respondent or informant in connention with the problem under study and is back by secondary data. As for the population in this study is a village head, Management of Karang Taruna, BPD Chairman, member of Karang Taruna, Management of PKK, member of PKK and society based on the head of the family (KK) with sampling using sensus and random sampling techniques, then the results of the data is analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively in table and description. From the research addressed that village head in Lirik district from Inhu district has done empowering with pretty good. This is based on result from the research during in field and looking ongoing activities in that village. As for indicators who stated already has be done empowering is create atmosphere or that climate allow potential developing (enabling), strengthen potensial or power possessed (empowering), empowering also contains meaning protect
