Jaringan Komunikasi Dan Peran Aktor Dalam Migrasi Buruh Migran Perempuan Tahap Pendaftaran Di Kabupaten Cilacap

The flow of migrant workers abroad cannot be separated from the strength of migrantsocial networks. This study presents an analysis of how the prospective migrant workers' effortsin obtaining the informat ion needed through a communication network approach. The researchobjective is to know (1) the structure of the communicat ion network related to the migrationprocess of prospective Indonesian female migrant workers, (2) Know the role of the actors in thecommunication network of female migrant workers. The method used in this study is the methodof analysis with the subject of the study being prospective migrant workers conducted in Karangtawang village, Cilacap district. The results showed (1) Sentrality in each communicationnetworkwas very low and spread to several actors. Some conditions that form a non-cohesivecommunicat ion network are very low network density even though the average distance is notup to two people or can be said to be close enough and the actor only needs three other actors tobe able to relate to that actor in a position central (2) Former migrant workers as one of thedisseminators of information act as 'information of control' (control of information) it also meansto act as a gatekeeper.Mengalirnya buruh migran ke luar negeri tidak bisa terlepas dari kuatnya jaringa n sosial(sosial networks) migran. Penelitian ini menyajikan analisis tentang bagaimana upaya calonburuh migran dalam mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan melalui pendekatan jaringankomunikasi. Tujuan penelitian adalah Mengetahui (1) struktur jaringan komunikasi terkait prosesmigrasi calon pekerja migran perempuan Indonesia, (2) Mengetahui peran dari aktor dalamjaringan komunikasi buruh migran perempuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian iniadalah metode analisis isi dengan subyek penelitian adalah calon buruh migran yang dilakukandi desa karang tawang kabupaten Cilacap. Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1) Sentrality pada setiapjaringan komunikasi sangat rendah dan menyebar kebeberapa actor. Beberapa kondisi yangmembentuk jaringa n komunikasi tidak kohesif adalah kepadatan (density) jaringan sangatrendah meskipun jarak rata-rata jarak terjauh (average distance) tidak sampai dua orang ataudapat dikatakan cukup dekat dan actor hanya membutuhkan tiga actor lainnya untuk dapatberhubungan dengan actor dalam posisi sentral.(2) Mantan buruh migran sebagai salah satupenyebar informasi berperan sebagai ‘kendali informasi’ (control of information) itu berarti jugaberperan sebagai sebagai gatekeeper
