Internal Locus of Control dan Konsep Diri Hubungannya dengan Kematangan Karir Siswa SMA X Bekasi

Students who are currently studying at the final high school level (SMA) are faced with many newroles, including career choices. Problems faced by high school students at this stage are a lack of informationalcompetence and the difficulty of making career choices. The Covid 19 pandemic that occurred in Indonesia alsohad an impact on students in preparation for making career decisions. Career choices are not only tailored tosuit interests and talents, but also consider the impact of changes caused by the pandemic at large. This studyaims to determine the internal locus of control and self-concept of its relationship with the career maturity ofthe 12th grade students of SMA X Bekasi. The entire population was sampled in this study as many as 166students, with saturated sampling techniques. The data collection method used a questionnaire consists of acareer maturity questionnaire, internal locus of control and self-concept. Data analysis used bivariatecorrelation to measure the correlation of internal locus of control variables with career maturity and selfconcept variables with career maturity, while multivariate correlation was used to measure the correlation ofinternal locus of control variables and self-concept with career maturity. The results showed that the internallocus of control had a significant positive correlation with the career maturity of the 12th grade students ofSMA X Bekasi, and self-concept also had a significant positive correlation with the career maturity of the 12thgrade students of SMA X Bekasi. Furthermore, both internal locus of control and self-concept have a significantpositive correlation with the career maturity of the 12th grade students of SMA X Bekasi.Siswa yang sedang menempuh pendidikan pada jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) tingkat akhirdihadapkan banyak peran baru antara lain pemilihan karir. Masalah yang dihadapi siswa SMA pada tahap iniadalah kurangnya kompetensi informasional dan sulitnya membuat pilihan karir. Pandemi Covid 19 yang terjadidi Indonesia juga memberikan dampak bagi siswa dalam persiapan membuat keputusan karir. Pemilihan karirtidak hanya disesuaikan dengan minat dan bakat, melainkan juga mempertimbangkan kembali dampakperubahan akibat pandemi secara luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui internal locus of control dankonsep diri hubungannya dengan kematangan karir siswa kelas 12 SMA X Bekasi. Seluruh populasi menjadisampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 166 siswa, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel jenuh. Adapunmetode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang terdiri dari angket kematangan karir, internal locus ofcontrol dan konsep diri. Analisis data menggunakan bivariate correlation untuk mengukur korelasi variabelinternal locus of control dengan kematangan karir dan variabel konsep diri dengan kematangan karir, sedangkanmultivariate correlation untuk mengukur korelasi variabel internal locus of control dan konsep diri dengankematangan karir. Hasil penelitian menunjukan internal locus of control berkorelasi signifikan positif dengankematangan karir siswa kelas 12 SMA X Bekasi, dan konsep diri juga berkorelasi signifikan positif dengankematangan karir siswa kelas 12 SMA X Bekasi.
