Building the Trust for The Tourism Destination Resiliency in New Normal Society (The Role Of Wellness Tourism System)

This study aims to exploit the situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic crisis on thetourism industry. The decline in the trust of both foreign and domestic tourists has led to thedeterioration of the tourism industry and its chain of effects. The concept of wellness tourism isconsidered to be one of the steps that can be prepared by tourist destinations by integrating theconcept of tourism services with the concept of “rest” and health services during tourist trips thathave a safety effect on visitors from the Covid-19 virus surveillance. Apart from having an impacton the economic side for the community, wellness tourism also has a strong psychological impacton tourists. Creativity in concocting tour packages and tourism support sectoral environments withcontemporary concepts that are in accordance with new norms will be the key in successfullygaining public trust to return to travel by implementing health protocol.Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksploitasi situasi yang diakibatkan oleh krisispandemi COVID-19 terhadap industri pariwisata. Turunnya kepercayaanwisatawan baik mancanegara maupun domestik menyebabkan terpuruknya industriwisata dan rantai efeknya. Konsep wellness tourism dinilai menjadi salah satulangkah yang bisa dipersiapkan oleh destinasi wisata dengan mengintegrasikankonsep pelayanan pariwisata dengan konsep “tetirah” dan pelayanan kesehatanselama perjalanan wisata yang memberikan efek keamanan pengunjung akanintaian virus Covid-19. Selain memberikan dampak dalam sisi ekonomi bagimasyarakat wellness tourism juga memberikan dampak psikologis yang kuat bagiwisatawan.
