Trabajo social comunitario y asentamientos chabolistas: Estudio comparativo de experiencias de intervención social

Abstract: The eclectic and dynamic nature of the Community Social Work makes it an intervention unit that adjusts to the demands and challenges that today's society faces in situations and contexts of social vulnerability such as shanty towns. The comparative analysis of three scenarios that have similarities in terms of problems, needs, intergenerational maintenance of poverty, unemployment and school absenteeism, show us how community intervention must be dynamic and capable of adapting to an increasingly individualized society.The study has been carried out through qualitative methodology based on the bibliographic study through various sources and, also, through the visit to the contexts that attention is paid: Asperones (Málaga), El Vacie (Seville) and El Gallinero (Madrid). Territories are analyzed taking into account various categories of community intervention such as the intercultural community approach, community action and the community approach, since in this way, analytical optics is placed in the communities' own social development, the interaction of the social and educational agents, the empowerment and the asymmetric power relations and the specific demands taking into account that these house in many situations a general interest.Resumen: El carácter ecléctico y dinámico que presenta el Trabajo Social Comunitario le convierte en una unidad de intervención que se ajusta a las exigencias y retos que la sociedad actual alberga ante situaciones y contextos de vulnerabilidad social como son los asentamientos chabolistas. El análisis comparativo de tres escenarios que guardan similitudes en cuanto a problemas, necesidades, mantenimiento intergeneracional de la pobreza, desempleo y absentismo escolar, nos muestran como la intervención comunitaria tiene que ser dinámica y con capacidad de adaptabilidad a una sociedad cada vez más individualizada. El estudio se ha llevado a cabo por medio de la metodología cualitativa a partir del estudio bibliográfico por medio de diversas fuentes y, además, por medio de la visita a los contextos que se presta atención: Asperones (Málaga), El Vacie (Sevilla) y El Gallinero (Madrid). Se analizan los territorios teniendo en cuenta diversas categorías de intervención comunitaria como son el enfoque comunitario intercultural, la acción comunitaria y el enfoque comunitario ya que, de este modo, se sitúa la óptica analítica en el propio desarrollo social de las comunidades, la interacción de los agentes sociales y educativos, el empoderamiento y las relaciones de poder de carácter asimétrico y las demandas específicas teniendo en cuenta que éstas albergan en muchas situaciones un interés general
