This study examined the parents’ attitudes toward the participation of their school age daughter in physical activity and sports outside of school hours. Especially, the aim of the work was to analyze the parent’s perceived responsibility about the role of different individuals and institutions involved in the promoting of physical activity and sports among female student. Also, information about parents’ perceived specific strategies to promote and support their daughter’s sport activity adoption and maintenance was obtained.
