Aprovechamientos hidraúlicos tradicionales en un medio semiárido: La Luz - Fuensanta - Teatinos (Sierra de la Cresta del Gallo, Murcia)

This paper aims the analysis and interpretation of a hydraulic system, considering the relations between the constraints of physical environment and human interventions over centuries for the exploitation of water resources in a territory with a rainfall shortage. Through the study of historical documentation, the collection of testimonies, the analysis of the physical environment and an exhaustive fieldwork, is intended to know the elements of the system, its function and spatial dimension, its influence and relationship with settlements, the agents involved in its construction and the natural features have allowed and conditioned the interventions described here.Este trabajo tiene como finalidad el análisis e interpretación de un sistema de aprovechamiento hidráulico, considerando las relaciones entre los condicionantes del medio físico y las actuaciones humanas multiseculares para aprovechar los recursos hídricos de un territorio con una marcada indigencia pluviométrica. Mediante el estudio de la documentación histórica, la recogida de testimonios, el análisis del medio físico y un exhaustivo trabajo de campo se pretenden conocer los elementos que integran el sistema, la función y dimensión espacial de los mismos, su influencia y relación con el poblamiento, los agentes implicados en su construcción y los rasgos naturales que han posibilitado y condicionado las actuaciones aquí descritas
