Galician Kingdom was since its origins in the Middle Ages a feudal territory consisting of multiple manors. However, despite their feudal nature, Galician manors did not correspond to a uniform, homogeneous or static reality, but undergone important changes along the Late Middle Ages, until turning into modern jurisdictional manors. This article aims to offer an overall picture of the main characteristics of these manors, their origins and evolution.
