In this paper we see that the number of young farmens who is going to continue in the farm explotation is very small. If the previous generation had the decision to continue working in the family farm, in some case by part-time, the young people leaves this and look for an employment in the urban size.El caserío vasco es una tipología de explotación fundamentada en la familia. La continuidad de la función agraria está condicionada al interés de alguno de los miembros jóvenes de la unidad familiar. En este artículo observamos cómo son escasos los jóvenes agricultores que vayan a continuar manteniendo algo de actividad.
