This article is written in the conviction that most of the Goethe's Scientific ideas and intriguing theories were original to him, the producto of his peculiar way of contemplating nature. But at the same time, in Goethe's conception of nature a lot of ideas outside the main tradition of modern science flourished again, as well as the proyect of a comprehensive philosophy of nature, science and life.
